Abrego Garcia is a family man from Maryland, in the country legally since 2019. He is married to a U.S. citizen, held a job, paid his taxes and took care of his family, until a few weeks ago when he was arrested by ICE and sent to prison in El Salvador with no due process.
Trump administration admits they got the wrong guy. In a court filing, the government acknowledged that it had deported at least one migrant to El Salvador due to an “administrative error. Now
the piece of shit Trump administration is saying that the individual had no right to contest his imprisonment because he is in the custody of a “foreign sovereign.” While I am no legal expert by any means, I would think that the United States could ask to have Mr. Garcia back. I’d say trade him for the person or persons responsible for sending him there in the first place. They deserve to be in prison.
So in a nut shell, I’ll make this really simple just in case a MAGAnite tries to read this:
- Step 1 – Illegally Arrest Someone
- Step 2 – Deport them, against a court order, to a nasty prison in El Salvador
- Step 3 – Claim, “oh well, nothing we can do about it now because he is no longer in America.”
This is some nasty, fucked up shit and all Americans should be appalled.
